Hello friends!

I'm Christine

(but you can call me Chris!)

I'm a South African photographer, writer and happy-chooser

(now based in Burlington, ON)

I've been doing life with my my hilarious hubby for over a decade

(and I'm now also playing mamma to our mini)

I'm a story-teller who believes in finding the joy in the ordinary

(and I would absolutely love to tell your story!)

more about my story

I'm Zimbabwean by birth, South African by heart, Irish by passport and as of December 2013, Canadian by postal code!

I have a background in Media, managed a photography studio and have been building this business of mine since 2011. By far the best/hardest/most rewarding role I've ever had is that of mamma to my mini, Mr. Rhys Alexander.

It's been just over a decade of adventures with my love and we're coming up for our four year wedding anniversary. Just after we said yes to our forever, he tempted me with a maple syrup pancakes and we packed up for a move of life and business to Canada. I now call Burlington, Ontario home (although I also shoot seasonally in South Africa)

I'm quite possibly the world's most hopeless romantic. I believe in love...the fairytale kind but also, the everyday kind. I like to try find the joy in ordinary moments, smile at strangers and squeeze the ones I love.

I spend lots of time on blogs and not enough at the gym and I'm always reading more than one book at a time. I'm a huge lover of a count-down and I eat (a rather ridiculous amount of) chocolate; dark orange is the way to my heart!

I'm a perfectionist who's desk would never tell you so, I sing out loud while driving and try to convince myself that one day I'll land on my yoga mat dail. I tell the worst jokes known to man, speak really really fast when I'm excited and while I believe in growth, change often scares me.

• University sweethearts
• One decade (so far) of adventures
• He's the go-with-the-flow to my plan-all-the-things!!
• He pretend-booked me to shoot my very own proposal! #bestjobever
• Seriously, it's a story you need to ask me about!!
• We said yes to our forever on October 19th 2013 in Cape Town, South Africa.
• Then he whisked me off for a life on Canadian shores.
• We welcomed our mini Rhys Alexander on Dec 10th 2016
• We're 'burb people who love cozy weekends at home.
• But tempt us with adventures and we're first to say yes!

My APPROACH I'm a firm believer in love; the fairytale,
butterflies in your stomach kind but most
of all, the everyday, ordinary kind.

I love telling stories and believe that life’s best moments should be celebrated, out loud (even better with a side of happy dancing!)

Whether I'm telling your love story, documenting your growing family or helping you build your business, I aim to make your experience in front of my camera a comfortable one.
The Experience You should probably know that I’m a huge
hugger, tell the worst jokes known to man and I end all my emails in xx.

I almost always shoot wearing comfy boots
and I’ve been known to shed a happy tear or two while celebrating with you. Oh, and I’ll never say no to take-home wedding cake.

But most of all, you should know that I will
treasure your story for the rest of time,
just like I hope your photos will help you do!
