Ten years ago we started texting everyday, “back in those days” using Mxit from our Nokia 3310s and limiting characters in our flirty messages to not go over 1/1 and save on our SMS text bundles.

Today we send quick emojis from our smart phones, Skype ridiculously silly links back and forth and call each other hands-free in traffic.

Seeing your name pop up on my screen still gives me butterflies.

Over the last ten years, there have been so many adventures…and thousands of goofy dork photos to remember them by. Aren’t we the coolest!

Today’s adventure to celebrate 3 years as Mr & Mrs is 1 movie date, 2 large popcorns (salted by you because I sprinkle too hard) and 3…our squirmy third wheel in my belly. No, not everyday is a honeymoon in Thailand, eating our way through Paris or NYC or road trips to new places you’ve discovered. But oh my goodness yes…I still choose this everyday adventure with you.

Camps Bay, Cape Town/Hamilton Beach, Canada

Three years ago we stood on beach sand in Cape Town and called South Africa home.

Today we walk on sandy lake shores across the world in Canada.

There are good days and days that are still so, so hard. Days that feel like we’ve only just arrived and days that make me think we’ve always meant to be here. Our free time has filled, our businesses are being built and keep us busier than ever, our family is growing, our house is our home. Home is where we are together.
